The developers of the upcoming online action RPG Dauntless want to develop the game together with the fans. Therefore, early feedback during the alpha and beta is important.
First, the developers explain, that the beta of Dauntless will start this fall. Then, the city of Ramsgate will be open to all who want to participate. From here, initial adventures can be planned, during which you can join friends in hunting the Behemoths – gigantic beings that threaten the inhabitants of the world of Shattered Isles.
During the beta, you can provide feedback to the developers, who will review it and make adjustments if necessary. Additionally, new content will be continuously worked on during the beta to expand the game world and provide you with new opportunities.
A beta is not a final product
However, the beta will still contain many elements that are “in flux”. These include placeholder graphics or features that are not yet final or only implemented for testing. Throughout, the developers want to be as open as possible with the fans and discuss all changes and developments. The team does not only aim for the tastes of the broad masses.
