A Free2Play game needs to generate revenue somehow. That’s why the developers of the co-op action RPG Dauntless have now announced the Founder’s Packs.
In total, three packages are available to you, each offering different content. However, all three provide you with guaranteed access to the Closed Beta, items, and status symbols.
The Slayer Pack
For $39.99, you will receive the Slayer Pack. This offers:
Access to the Closed Beta
90-day Champion Status, which allows you to receive more resources from defeated Behemoths
Slayer Pack with helpful items such as potions and other consumables
In-game title and a forum icon
Founder’s Flare, marking you as the leader of a group
The Hero Pack
If you invest $69.99, you will receive the Hero Pack, which brings along the following in addition to the contents of the Slayer Pack:
Chroma Cores with which you can customize your equipment through special items. Each Chroma Core contains surprise items.
Transmog Stones – Change the appearance of your equipment through transmogrification
The “Founder” Pack
If you spend $79.99, you will receive the “Founder” Founder Pack. This includes all content from the other packages plus:
Access to a special Alpha event
Patron status for 90 days, allowing you to receive more resources from defeated Behemoths for all players in the group
Style Hunter Perk, which gives you a chance to receive cosmetic items from defeated Behemoths
Founder’s Banner – An emote that marks you as a Founder
Guild Charter, allowing you to create your own guild
Your name appears in the game credits
