The battle royale online game Darwin Project was released as an early access title on PC and Xbox One and seems to be providing a lot of fun for players.
Darwin Project does not want to be just another one of the many battle royale shooters standing in the shadows of Fortnite and PUBG. The game aims to offer something special due to its “show nature” – and players have shown that this can work well during the early access phase.

In Darwin Project, you are a participant in a macabre game show. You are dropped into a freezing area and fight against other players until only one person remains. Sounds like a typical battle royale. However, there is both a host and spectators, which is why the matches are also live streamed via Mixer or Twitch.
The spectators can influence the host, as they have many ways to intervene in the game. For example, by detonating a nuclear bomb or making players visible to others on the map and placing a bounty on them.
