Tomorrow, on July 20, the Early Access phase of the sandbox MMO Dark and Light will begin. To get you in the mood, the developers have now released a launch trailer.
Many MMORPG fans are already looking forward to Dark and Light. The fantasy game will enter Early Access on July 20. Then you can try out how the mix of survival and sandbox feels. On special PvP servers, there will even be open PvP and full loot. You will be able to attack all players anywhere and take all their belongings.
The launch trailer gets you excited for the Early Access phase
With a new gameplay trailer, the developers are preparing you for the start of the Early Access phase. The trailer shows you what to expect. You can build a house or even a fortress, but you will need to gather resources for that.
That proves to be more difficult than it sounds, as dangers lurk everywhere. You can tame the monsters you encounter and use them as companions and mounts. Those who manage to tame a dragon can explore the vast game world from the air.
A large sandbox – ARK Survival Evolved with dragons instead of dinos
Dark and Light will allow about 100 players per server, making the survival aspect always interesting and it should be an event to meet other players. Dark and Light is a sandbox. This means, in principle, you can do whatever you want. There are no quests that guide you through a story.
Dark and Light can best be imagined as a kind of “Fantasy-ARK,” with dragons instead of dinosaurs.
