You play as Beatrix LeBeau, who is starting a new life. To do this, you travel many thousands of light-years from Earth to a planet known as Far, Far Range
. There, you work as a Slime Rancher.
The game comes from developer Monomi Park, an indie studio from California.

You explore the open world, gather valuable resources, and capture small creatures, like the Pink Slime
or the feline Tabby Slime
, to keep them as pets on your farm.
Take care of the cute inhabitants, breed new hybrid specimens, and raise them. In addition, you grow fruits and earn money to improve and expand the equipment and the farm. If you complete daily tasks, you will receive bonus rewards from other ranchers.
However, the game is purely single-player and does not have a multiplayer mode.
