Crusaders of Light is an online role-playing game in the style of World of Warcraft from the Chinese publisher NetEase. The game is now available here for Apple devices on iOS. The Android version is expected to follow soon, and even a PC version is planned.
Are you a huge fan of World of Warcraft and its unique style, but would prefer to play on your iPhone or iPad because you are often on the go? Then Crusaders of Light is definitely worth a look, as this MMORPG from China is a full-fledged online role-playing game with tons of content and a detailed fantasy world complete with story, raids, and PvP.
Crusaders of Light – Like World of Warcraft, but on mobile or tablet
In Crusaders of Light, you get a complete online role-playing game in the WoW style. You create a hero from a selection of three classes. There are Warriors, Rangers, and Mystics. Each of these classes can later develop into one of three specializations. However, the skill selection is manageable and not overly extensive.
Fortunately, the grind should be limited; there are not countless “hunt and collect” quests, instead, you level up well through the story. The background story and the world are nothing special, but solid fantasy.
There will be an auto-play feature for regular questing, where your hero does many things automatically. In the thick 40s raids, however, you should definitely play yourself. There’s also a PvP section with battles in the formats 1vs1, 3vs3, 5vs5, and 25vs25.
Crusaders of Light – Crossplay and Raid Contest – Win $400,000!
Crusaders of Light is already available in the Apple App Store for Europe. The Android version is set to be released on July 20.
Additionally, a PC version for Facebook Game Room is planned, which will come later in the summer. A specific date has yet to be announced. At launch, there will be seven servers, and an additional six will be added when the Android version launches.
Crusaders of Light will be cross-platform playable, but server switching is not possible afterwards, so think carefully about where you play.
Moreover, the first seven servers offer the chance to participate in a raid contest until September 10. Whoever completes the raid “Fort Desolation” in hard mode the fastest will receive $400,000, which will be divided among the 40-man raid team.
Here you can get Crusaders of Light for free in the App Store.
