Mounts can be attacked, killed, and stolen in the fantasy MMORPG Crowfall. Although not necessarily in that order.
Mounts are primarily used for quick travel or for transporting goods. The one in the picture is a pack animal, which can carry stone, wood, or iron. To obtain a mount, they must first be tamed. This requires one or more skills, such as Riding. The higher this ability is, the better and more creatures can be tamed. The riding speed also increases accordingly.
Not every tamable animal can be used for everything. A mount that is not ridable can only be used for transporting items. This accompanying inventory can also be attacked and killed. This death is usually permanent. However, if you have previously created a statuette that allows you to call the mount from the inventory at any time, the death only causes a cooldown on the item. To create a statuette, corresponding disciplines are necessary. The creature is still not safe. Since you can lose items if killed in PvP, it can also be stolen.
