Within a week, ArtCraft Entertainment exceeded the 1 million US dollars mark with their Kickstarter campaign for the fantasy MMO Crowfall. Due to the overfunding, the first stretch goals were achieved and further ones were quickly set.
The small development studio ArtCraft Entertainment needed an additional 800,000 US dollars for the realization of their MMO project Crowfall. The founders J. Todd Coleman and Gordon Walton relied on a Kickstarter campaign to remain independent and develop specifically for the target audience. In “record time” of two and a half days, the crowdfunding goal was reached.
Today, about a week after the kickstart, the magical 1 million US dollars mark has been surpassed and the first stretch goal set by the developers has been achieved. This allows the centaurs to have female companions, and with the help of another FX artist, the particle effects will be improved. As the campaign runs for another 19 days, the developers have set the next stretch goals.
At a sum of 1.3 million US dollars, special mounts and caravans will find their way into the game. Depending on the backer level, the mount comes in different versions:
- With the backer status you will receive the magical Quarterhorse.
- As a bronze patron, you will receive the Warhorse in addition to the Quarterhorse.
- From the silver patron level, in addition to the previous two horses, you will also receive the magical Nightmarehorse.
Furthermore, all backers receive the statue of the Allfather for their own kingdom, provided that 12,000 supporters gather by the end of the campaign.
If the listed stretch goals are reached before the end of the campaign on March 26, the developers of Crowfall already have more in store.
