Crowfall: This is the Ranger and this is how it continues in 2016

The developers of the MMORPG Crowfall have revealed some details about the Ranger class. Additionally, there is information on what will happen in Crowfall in 2016.

Since Legolas from the Lord of the Rings, it is known that Rangers are agile, defy gravity, and can take out several enemies with flailing movements. In the MMO Crowfall, you will also be able to embody a Ranger.

The agile Ranger

The developers have now released an initial video showcasing the Ranger in action. And you can see that he somehow resembles Legolas. He also apparently enjoys flailing swords to take out his foes and can perform daring jumps and flips. This certainly makes the Ranger particularly spectacular when you embody him in the game.

In creating the class and its appearance, care was taken to ensure that he appears as natural and in tune with nature as possible, which also applies to the equipment. His clothing and weapons should look as if he made them from materials found in forests. These include wood, bones, and hide. As for the bows he can use, they should also reflect his development. The beginner’s bow, for example, looks very crude, while later versions become increasingly detailed. You will be able to change his equipment in Crowfall by practicing crafting. Therefore, the appearance of the Ranger can change significantly later.

The Ranger is a class you should play if you enjoy taking out enemies from a distance with a bow and arrow, but also don’t want to perish easily in close combat.

The development is progressing

Currently, the developers of the MMORPG Crowfall are preparing “Risky Siege 2.0”, which is a new test set to start this March and in which all supporters from Pre-Alpha and Alpha 1 to 3 can participate. Afterwards, attention will turn to the next milestones for the world-building tools (for the campaign and the Eternal Kingdoms) as well as the land parcel tool. Following that, the first test campaign is expected to take place.
