The fast-paced post-apocalyptic action MMO Crossout has an event during the Christmas season where you loot cookies from bandits in the wasteland. You then use the cookies to buy crazy decorations for your killer vehicles.
In Crossout, the main goal is usually to survive brutal combat with wild, cobbled-together battle vehicles in the post-apocalypse. Valuable resources, components, and gasoline await as loot. However, during the Christmas season, every wasteland rogue has something else in mind: cookies!
Stealing cookies and upgrading vehicles
In the merciless wasteland of Crossout, bandits and their leader (who suspiciously resembles the Grinch) have stolen Christmas. They must not get away with this! In the Brawl event “Christmas Heist”, you break into the villains’ warehouse and rescue gifts. There’s also a new PvP mode called “New Year’s Fever” and numerous daily challenges.
As a reward for the battles, you will receive the coveted cookies. However, the cookies are not for eating! You can use them to build new decorations. So, if you’ve always wanted reindeer horns or fireworks on your vehicle, you can get them thanks to the cookies. Not only do they look good, but they also increase the number of experience points you earn after each match.
Entrepreneurial players prefer to sell the cookies on the trade market to other players, making a good profit. The Christmas event runs until January 5th.
Also new: You can now apply stickers to your vehicles.
