Larian Studios are currently working on the role-playing game Baldur’s Gate 3. To provide the latest updates, there was a live stream from the developers. During this, there were spicy scenes that led directly to the ban.
What kind of game is this?
- Baldur’s Gate 3 is an RPG based on the famous Dungeons & Dragons. Larian Studios previously developed Divinity: Original Sin 2, one of the best RPGs on Steam.
- You play as your own character or take on one of the pre-made heroes, experiencing hundreds of hours of adventure and determining for yourself how “good” or “evil” everything should turn out.
- One of the most important points is the relationships between characters and possible romances. In the release show “Panels from Hell”, there were precisely problems arising from this.
Why was Larian banned? Among the major announcements of the stream were the possibilities of playing as a mad murderer and being able to have sex with bears. No joke: Baldur’s Gate 3 allows sex with druids in bear form.
Such a scene was shown in the live stream quite explicitly. In a homosexual love scene between a vampire and a druid, the latter loses control and transforms into a bear. Through the player’s decisions, sex can then occur.

The stream aired on Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok. After some naked male butts and the bear scene, it seemed too much for TikTok and the channel was banned.
About an hour earlier, the stream had ended on the platform, just as the collector’s editions were being presented. Meanwhile, the channel has been unlocked again.
Baldur’s Gate 3 wants to keep all options open
The background of the scenes is that Larian wants to be as open as possible in all matters. Do you want to be evil? Do it, but expect that someone will stab you in the eye with a dagger. Are you interested in your companions? Get close to them, but maybe you’ll get more than you plan.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is supposed to have very few restrictions, but you will always have to live with the consequences. In total, there are millions of words of text lines included and the playtime is said to be between 75 and 100 hours.

When and where will Baldur’s Gate 3 be released? On August 3, Baldur’s Gate 3 will be released for PC, after being in early access for 3 years. The PS5 version will come out on September 6. There are currently no plans for an Xbox version.
