The new German dubbing of One Piece on Netflix is now being supported by a content creator who is not only a huge fan but also wants to do justice to the anime with his own contribution.

It is the content creator and YouTuber Nino “ninotakutv” Kerl, who publishes weekly anime news and other content about Japanese pop culture on his YouTube channel. He has already teased that he is involved in the new dubbing of One Piece on Netflix, but wanted to wait for another time to share the details – and that time has now arrived.
Ninotakutv announced with a post on his Instagram that he will officially work as a specialist and consultant for the German dubbing for Netflix. This means that he will check the dialogue scripts for accuracy and continuity, collaborate with the direction and editing, and work with the writing team and voice actors. He says that he wants to honor “the fans and the work of Oda-sensei” with his role (ninotakutv on Instagram).

What does ninotakutv want to achieve with his work? The content creator explains in his Instagram post that in addition to his work as a specialist and consultant, he will accompany the recordings on social media and keep all fans updated on YouTube, as he is now closely involved in the events.
