Conan Exiles is finally coming to the Xbox One console. It has a release date, which is still in August 2017. At the same time, the new Highlands biome will be released, which will be included in both the PC and Xbox versions. There are also new trailers.
August will be particularly interesting for fans of Conan Exiles, as the wild barbarian game will receive two major updates. On one hand, the long-awaited Highlands biome will be released, significantly expanding the game world. On the other hand, the Xbox One version of Conan Exiles will launch in August.
Conan Exiles – Finally on Xbox One, slaying barbarians
The Xbox One version of Conan Exiles has been in development for months and will be released on August 16, 2017.
However, the console version will not include the notorious penises, which have caused quite a stir in the PC version.
Microsoft only allows partial nudity in the Xbox version, which means that your barbarians will have to keep their loincloths on. On the other hand, it is not a good idea to drop your pants in a cold winter landscape, as the Xbox version also includes the new Highlands biome.
New Highlands biome coming at Xbox One launch
The new biome is called “Highlands” and is a cold winter landscape in the north of the known wasteland of Conan Exiles. There are new resources, slaves, weapons, recipes, and even gods waiting for you. Additionally, dangerous new animals like wolves and giant mammoths inhabit the area. And if that is not dangerous enough, you will have to deal with the inhabitants of the winter landscape: blue-skinned giants in Skyrim style!
Funcom will announce further details about the Highlands biome at a later date. But you can already admire some videos of the new biome.
By the way, for those wondering where the Playstation 4 version of Conan Exiles is: The PS4 version unfortunately won’t be released until the game launches in early 2018.
