Conan Exiles has received a new update. This includes some revisions of existing features and a brand new dungeon. In this dungeon, there are recipes for special items that look like they came straight out of Dark Souls.
What kind of items are those? In the new dungeon, there are recipes for new armors and weapons. A short introduction video showcases some of the new items.
Included are:
- Two heavy armor sets of the “Godbreaker”
- One heavy armor set of the “Champion”
- One presumably medium armor made of leather, steel, bones, and horns
- A two-handed mace
- A two-handed executioner’s sword
One of the heavy armors and the mace are exactly the equipment that the final boss of the new dungeon wears.
What kind of dungeon is this? The new dungeon is the “Warmaker’s Sanctuary” and is located almost in the center of the desert, slightly northwest of the Nameless City. The entrance is right at Klael’s Fortress. Level 60 and a group are recommended, similar to the last dungeon, the sunken city.
You will find the recipes by defeating the bosses, the Champion and the Knight at the very end. Search the respective rooms and side rooms for tablets to learn the following recipes:
- Weapons of the Warlord
- Armor of the Godbreaker
- Armor of the Arena Champion
You need the recipe “Epic Exile Items” at level 60 to interact with the tablets.
The “rusty” set with the Black Heart Hammer. 
The Godbreaker set with the Black Heart Hammer. 
The Champion set with the Black Heart Blade.
Do I need a DLC for this? No. Unlike the cosmetic items from DLCs like the Turan Pack, the new armors are gameplay elements that come as a free update.

What other items are coming? In addition to the new armors and weapons, new paintings have been added to the game as decorative elements. The paintings are fan creations that were selected as winners during a competition.
The paintings can be easily crafted at the artisan’s workbench. However, you will need the talents “Furniture Maker” and “Painter” (level 10). Each painting costs 10x insulated wood and 15x silk.
What is changing in the game: The patch also brings several changes to existing features and locations. Many things have been revised:
- Some locations are now prettier or offer more. These include faction outposts such as the Black Galeon
- Many caves have been revised and are now more visually appealing, unique, or have received new bosses
- Temperature now plays a more important role. Those who maintain a neutral body temperature regenerate health points slowly
- Some attributes have been adjusted to grant stronger bonuses or new effects such as resistance to debuffs

When can I play the patch? The new update has already been deployed for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. You only need to patch if necessary, as the update came to consoles on June 26.
