When you start Conan Exiles, you are left with just your bare fists, and even the first weapons you craft are barely more than sharp sticks and jagged stones. Only those who truly get to work can craft weapons from iron or even steel. But which weapons are the most effective?
Conan Exiles: The Best Weapon – Hammer, Chepesch or Longsword?
Among the numerous weapons in Conan Exiles, there are some real gems but also a lot of junk whose crafting you can skip. To help you know which weapons are the most effective, we’ve listed here the six best killing instruments for you.
Our findings are based on the work of YouTuber KlefGaming, who tested all weapons for hours on his own Conan server using admin tools and was able to determine the DPS values. You can find the video following this announcement. Unfortunately, many virtual hyenas had to give their lives for this information.
The Top Weapons in Conan Exiles – Best Ranged Weapons, Best Melee Weapons
The following weapons are all particularly valuable as they have good DPS values and therefore should not be missing from any barbarian arsenal. The best weapons in Conan Exiles in ascending order are:

Optimize Your DPS
By the way, keep in mind that one-handed weapons only reveal their full DPS potential when you perform an attack combination. By attacking again after your first hit, your barbarian performs a backhand strike that does the same damage but is faster.
With two-handed hammers, on the other hand, you spam the quick attack with the right mouse button, as this is faster and still does the same damage as the wide swing on the left mouse button.
