When will the survival role-playing game Conan Exiles be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC? Funcom has now announced the release date. In a few months, it will be here.
The official release of Conan Exiles was initially planned for the first quarter of 2018, but that will not happen, as the developers still have some work to do to create a smooth gaming experience.
As Funcom has now stated, the official launch of the RPG will take place on May 8, 2018. This date applies to PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Two Editions of Conan Exiles
From May 8, you can purchase Conan Exiles in a Standard Box Edition with a printed map and Conan’s Atlantean Sword as an in-game item for 39.99 Euros (PC) or 49.99 Euros (PS4 and Xbox One).
In addition, Funcom, together with Deep Silver, will also release a Limited Collector’s Edition. This will be available for 69.99 Euros (PC) or 79.99 Euros (PS4 and Xbox One). It includes:
- Collector Figure: A 15 cm tall figure of Conan the Barbarian, made of polyresin
- Comic: A comic book from Dark Horse, telling an adventure of Conan in the game’s regions
- Soundtracks: The game includes the soundtracks from Conan Exiles and even from Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures and Age of Conan: Rise of the Godslayer
- Artbook: The artbook provides a behind-the-scenes look at the Conan Exiles production
- World Map: A color-printed world map of the game world
- Digital Comic: Six digital comics from Dark Horse. They tell the “A Witch Shall Be Born” story.
- Digital RPG Rulebook: A 368-page digital rulebook for the Conan Pen & Paper role-playing game from Modiphius
Funcom’s Creative Director Joel Bylos explains: “Early Access and Game Preview were an important tool for us during the development of Conan Exiles. Through direct feedback from players, we were able to focus on improvements, bug fixes, and new content. We still have plenty of time until release to focus on enhancements and bug fixes. We are working intensively on new content and gameplay improvements – including the new jungle and volcano worlds.”
Recently, the developers of the RPG Conan Exiles announced that they will be increasing the prices for the game, starting with the early access version for Xbox One.
