In Conan Exiles, you can climb on rock walls in the upcoming update and enjoy a bit of parkour in the wasteland. Furthermore, Conan chief Joel Bylos answered questions from the community.
A Swabian proverb says, “When monkeys climb, the weather becomes nice!” However, in the wasteland of Conan Exiles, soon there won’t be monkeys climbing but wild barbarians who will be able to climb with the upcoming newest build of the game. So far, this has not affected the weather.
Conan Exiles – Climbing Barbarians – Always watch your stamina!
Until now, smooth rock walls in Conan Exiles have been a reliable protection against grumpy barbarian players. You could mock the opponent from above while they were just standing stupidly below. But in the upcoming newest build of Conan Exiles, walls are no longer an obstacle for brave barbarians.
When you jump towards a wall, your character will cling to it and can climb freestyle upwards. But beware! If you run out of stamina, you will fall into the depths and, in the worst case, to your death! So think twice before climbing a sufficiently high rock wall. You can already admire the new feature in a developer video. The climbing begins around the 35th minute.

- Magic should not cause direct damage in combat; rather, it’s about summoning or shapeshifting
