7 years after release, Conan Exiles finally allows you to trade with the most important “resource” of the game

The survival game Conan Exiles will receive a new update in December 2025, bringing various quality of life improvements. Most importantly, the core aspects of the game will see changes.

What is the most important resource? In Conan Exiles, you fight for survival, and for that, your own thralls are essential. They complete tasks and support you, once you have captured them.

If they belong to your loyal followers, you can assign them various tasks and roles: They can fight or assist you in building, making them the most important resource of the game and a foundational pillar of the gameplay in Conan Exiles.

What kind of update is this? Since December 9, 2025, the December update for the survival game Conan Exiles is live, bringing some new features for your thralls, primarily affecting three aspects: building, magic, and trading (via conanexiles.com).

Building, magic, and trading will be easier

What is changing in trading? With the December update, Conan Exiles now allows you to trade with thralls, animals, or golems. Accordingly, you can set up trading stations where you can get rid of the creatures. No matter if you need the money or the labor is no longer required.

What else is being improved? Building and magic in Conan Exiles will be easier and faster. This is due to the thralls:

• Building & Crafting
  • In the future, you will not have to walk overloaded through your storage when you want to build. When you build at crafting stations, materials will be automatically used from your inventory. Additionally, your thralls will now deliver materials directly.
• Magic
  • Magic in Conan Exiles is receiving several smaller upgrades. For example, casting with the arcane staff is now faster, and earlier spells no longer require reagents. If you have thralls that act as summoners, they provide new efficiency bonuses at sacrifice stones.
