What does the future of Conan Exiles look like? What can fans look forward to? Funcom’s Creative Director Joel Bylos and Community Manager Jens Erik Vaaler have answered some questions, painting a picture of the future of the online game.
Many innovations planned
There are supposed to be several smaller updates before the big siege update, which will address clans. Dyes will receive more usage possibilities, for example, it will be possible to dye weapons, shields, and houses. Players will also have the ability to quickly descend from high places, and the feet of the characters will receive an optical overhaul.
Easter is Patch Break
A patch, which will be released after Easter, will bring 53 new emotes into the game. Due to the Easter holiday, no update is planned for the week. As for two-handed swords, the developers state that they will soon find their way into the game, with two-handed axes following later. A patch will introduce permissions that allow players to sit on the chairs of their fellow players.
Additionally, an animation will soon make its way into the game that will allow opponents whose strikes have been blocked by a shield to be open for a counterattack. Those carrying an avatar symbol will be marked on the map. This also applies to players walking towards a level 3 altar.
