In Pokémon GO, Tanhel is now available as a Dynamax monster. To defeat it, you should prepare accordingly. Tips from the community can help you with this.
What is a Dynamax monster? In Pokémon GO, the new Dynamax feature was recently unlocked. Here, you will battle with gigantic versions of your Pokémon against others.
With the launch of the Psychospektakel
event today, another Pokémon has found its way into the game as a Dynamax monster, and it is a very solid attacker – Tanhel.
If you want to challenge it, you should prepare accordingly. Unlike the previous Dynamax battles, Tanhel is not a 1-star battle, but a 3-star battle, making it a bit more challenging.
Take Advantage of Its Weakness!
What should you pay attention to when fighting Tanhel? So far, there are only a few Pokémon that you can use in Dynamax battles. Accordingly, the selection of Pokémon that you can use against Tanhel is still quite limited.
Since Tanhel has the types Steel and Psychic, there is one monster that you should definitely plan for: Charmander and its evolutions. Here you will get Fire attackers that are very effective against Tanhel.
What does the community say about it? On social networks, there are already some trainers giving tips on which Pokémon you should use against Tanhel.
Trainer Available-Candy-3873 writes in his post on Reddit that he managed to win the battle alone. He faced off with a Charizard and 2 Charmeleons. 3 Charmeleons alone would not have been enough. Neither his monsters nor the attacks were leveled.
In another post on Reddit, stretch_135 shares his experiences. He writes:
On my first attempt, I used two Charmanders and a Snorlax and got wiped out. After I evolved the Charmanders into Charizards, I easily won the battle on my second try.
If you plan to challenge Tanhel alone, you should evolve your Charmanders and rely on Charizard. If you team up with several trainers and Pokémon, the battle can be won more easily.
If you defeat a Tanhel or another Pokémon in a Dynamax battle, you should not move away too quickly. Because in addition to the reward you receive right after the fight, you can earn another one: You might miss out on an extra reward if you run away too quickly after a Dynamax battle in Pokémon GO.
