This is the situation:
- The free battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone regularly releases updates with small and larger changes
- With the latest patch 1.54, health points were increased for the first time in a mode, along with an important nerf and bug fixes
- Also, the popular Iron Trials will go online again this evening, March 3rd – this time on Rebirth Island
CoD Warzone: Update 1.54 – Patch Notes
When does the update come? The update is already online. However, the health point change of Vanguard Royale will only go online in the evening with the playlist update.
How big is the update? You need about 1 GB of space for the patch.
What changes with update 1.54? Highlights include adjustments to health points and a minor nerf of the XM4. Additionally, the reconnaissance drone returns to Vanguard Royale:
- Base health in Vanguard Royale increases from 100 to 150 (with armor to 300)
- Reconnaissance drone back in Vanguard Royale – Cost: 9,000
- XM4 nerf: neck multiplier decreases from 1.5 to 1.33
The XM4 remains top-tier even after the change. The good damage together with strong handling still makes it the best assault rifle – for the regular battle royale.
What bug fixes were there? Update 1.54 also came with some bug fixes. We list the most important ones here:
- Resolved further collision issues on Caldera
- Fixed issues with elements where players could get stuck – for example, stairs
- Removed performance weaknesses and stutters in the “Chemical Factory”
- 189mm barrel of the MP40 (VG) now deals the correct damage
- 705mm barrel of the Bren (VG) now calculates the range correctly
- Nebula rounds no longer penetrate deployment shields
Additionally, there were further visual adjustments in the menus or in the visualization of the effect of the nebula rounds. If you want to browse through the English patch notes yourself, you can find them at developer Raven Software (via ravensoftware.com).
CoD Warzone: Playlist from March 3rd – March 10th
A new playlist goes live at 7 PM on March 3rd, bringing the announced mode “Iron Trials” as a duo on Rebirth Island.
The mode starts with different health values and weakens sniper weapons, for example, so they only rarely land lethal headshots. This is what the rules looked like last time.
- CoD Warzone: Playlist from March 3rd.
- Vanguard Royale: Solo, Duo, Trio, 4-player
- Battle Royale: 4-player
- Plunder: 4-player
- Rebirth Island: Iron Trials Duo
- Rebirth Island: Revival Duo, Trio, 4-player
The update brought some interesting changes. The popular mode Iron Trials on Rebirth Island is also likely to lead to some new motivation.
Fans of the small combat island should remain curious. Adjustments to the map are expected for the mid-season update of Season 2. Details are not yet known, but the changes are likely to be quite extensive.
Currently, we can only hope that the crazy attachment glitch does not ruin the latest changes.
