Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War are giving PS Plus members a new combat pack to celebrate Season 5. You can secure a free DLC with 6 cosmetics through the PlayStation Store.
What is this DLC? PlayStation and Call of Duty have been in cooperation since the launch of CoD MW in 2019, providing players on the Sony console with various advantages over time. These include:
- Early access to CoD alpha phases
- A special co-op mode exclusive to PlayStation for 1 year
- Regular combat pack DLCs for PS Plus members
Now you can secure another combat pack with free cosmetics, and MeinMMO shows you the pack and all the information on how to redeem it. This time, there’s a slick parted Vargas.
Contents of the Season 5 Combat Pack
This is included in the new combat pack for Season 5: You will receive a set of cosmetic items with a thematic connection. It’s pretty much everything – just one talisman is missing in the current combat pack:
- Operator skin for Vargas
- Blueprint for the Bullfrog submachine gun
- The watch “Illuminate”
- Emblem
- Calling card
- 2x tokens for 60 minutes double XP
Where can you use all of this? Once you’ve redeemed the combat pack, you can use the items in CoD: Warzone and Cold War. However, to use the operator skin in Warzone, you need Cold War. Otherwise, you won’t have access to the operator Vargas.

The requirements: First and foremost, you must be a PS Plus member. If you have a subscription, you can activate the pack in your “PS Plus” area on PlayStation at any time. If you don’t find the pack directly, type “combat pack” into the search.
Once you start Warzone or Cold War, the items will be available to you. However, it’s a bit more complicated with the operator skin. The skin is part of an operator from Cold War, and you can only use it if you actually own Cold War. If you only play Warzone, unfortunately, you won’t be able to use the operator. The Vargas skin can also only be equipped on a PlayStation.

The combat pack will be available for download throughout Season 5. However, you might miss the pack – as soon as the new combat pack goes live in the next season, the old one will disappear.
What about other platforms? The combat pack is part of a cooperation between PlayStation and Call of Duty. Similar to the exclusive zombie mode “Rush”, which will only be available on other platforms one year after the release of Cold War. If you don’t have a PS Plus subscription, there’s no way to grab the mini-DLC.
