CoD Warzone & Cold War End Season Story – “One of the best stories of a multiplayer”

With a cinematic trailer, Call of Duty: Warzone concludes the story of the last shared season with Black Ops Cold War. MeinMMO shows you the trailer, explains the background, and what the fans say about it.

Black Ops Cold War introduced the setting of the Cold War into Call of Duty for the first time and told a story about secret agents, brainwashing, and the demonic Perseus. However, with the end of the solo campaign, the story of Cold War did not end.

With each live season, the CoD creators advanced the story a little further, which ultimately led to the destruction of large parts of the city of Verdansk. Now Warzone & Cold War showcased the last cinematic trailer of the shared live seasons and clarify who Perseus is. But the story is not quite at an end yet.

CoD Cold War & Warzone: Trailer concludes story of Season 6 – Finale of Adler and Stitch

In the video, the two opponents Adler and Stitch face each other. The two have a long history and have been fighting against each other for many years.

For Stitch, it has been a personal story from the start. When they were younger, Adler destroyed one of Stitch’s eyes during an interrogation – this humiliation he could never forget.

For Adler, it also became personal. Stitch captured him, brainwashed him, and made Adler work against his team. This all ended with the destruction of Verdansk, for which Adler is largely blamed.

As in the solo campaign of Cold War, it remains Adler’s goal to eliminate Perseus. However, in the video, Stitch tells Adler that Perseus is not a person, but an idea. Over time, there have been different people who were Perseus – and currently it is Stitch. The Perseus that Adler hunted for many years is already dead and died in 1983.

The cinematic ends with a black screen and a shot can be heard.

What happened during the season stories?

The season story starts in January 1984, at a time when Stitch has already taken on the role of Perseus.

  • Season 1

Stitch uses the dangerous nerve gas Nova-6 to set a trap for Adler and capture him. This also introduces the production site of Nova-6, and Rebirth Island becomes part of the Warzone.

  • Season 2

Woods ventures into the jungle of Laos to follow a lead on Adler. The location brings a map for Cold War, and nearby is also the second zombie map “Firebase Z” from Cold War.

  • Season 3

Stitch’s crew obtains the data on “the numbers” at Mount Jamantau. With the data, Stitch has access to brainwashing techniques and simultaneously strains the relationships between the Soviet Union and the USA, as they blow up the mountain. Adler is influenced by the numbers and then freed by Woods.

  • Season 4

Stitch causes satellites to crash to acquire a piece of transmission technology. The programmed Adler assists and steals a circuit board from one of the satellites. Satellites also came down in Warzone, impacting gameplay slightly.

  • Season 5

With the stolen numbers technology and transmission technology, Stitch’s team gained the ability to control soldiers without having to program them for long. Friends can thus quickly become enemies. The transmission stations of the transmissions can also be found in Warzone.

  • Season 6

Adler plants seismic bombs under Verdansk in a brainwashing frenzy, and with a timer, half the city explodes. This resulted in the most extensive map change in Warzone since the transition to Verdansk ’84.
