We asked you on MeinMMO how you like the new, free Battle Royale Call of Duty: Warzone 2. And despite some issues at launch, most of you are satisfied. For some, it is even the “perfect” Warzone.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 was released on November 16, along with Season 1 of Modern Warfare 2. Even the release evening on Wednesday made it clear, that not everything is running smoothly in the Battle Royale:
- The servers were under stress and many suffered from lags
- The social menu was completely bugged for 2 days
- Some couldn’t get into the game for an entire evening
However, there were also many reports that Warzone 2 ran smoothly in the first days. For example, MeinMMO user “Phantom” wrote in our comments: “I didn’t have any problems at any time. Only the connection sometimes took a little longer”.
That was also our impression while observing the servers and issues in the first days: You could either be very lucky or quite unlucky.
For instance, MeinMMO editor-in-chief Leya couldn’t get into the game all Thursday evening with her team – while I was out hunting for kills with my squad in southern Al Mazrah.
Therefore, we wanted to know how you like Warzone 2, and 1,763 readers from MeinMMO responded:

The result is quite clear, and despite the issues at launch, most of you celebrate the revival of CoD’s Battle Royale:
- Positive votes: 789 / 44.8 %
- Neutral votes: 378 / 21.4 %
- Negative votes: 596 / 33.8 %
Notably, there are also 92 votes for a “perfect” Warzone. This indicates a certain hype felt by 5% of the voting readers.
However, about 20% of the votes are for the worst option “Poor” and the strongest individual rating is “Average”. A convincing result looks different.
The technical state of Warzone is causing some frustration, but many players are coping with the stress at launch or had fewer issues than others.
