What makes the ISO Hemlock special? The Hemlock is a strong assault rifle for medium and long distances. The rather low fire rate of 600 shots/minute combined with controllable recoil allows for precise hits at great distances.
The visual recoil is quite noticeable with a 3.4 optic, but can easily be compensated for due to the low fire rate. However, you will feel the downside of the fire rate when you miss a shot – then the time-to-kill increases significantly.
In addition, the recoil has a “catch”, in the truest sense of the word. The first 15/16 shots have almost no horizontal recoil, only going slightly upwards. However, the next bullets drift to the right. But the vertical recoil decreases here.
Try to get used to the behavior or opt for 10-shot bursts. With bursts you can completely avoid the catch and start again at the recoil.
How can I further tweak the setup? If you often play at medium distance or are frequently on Ashika Island, then skip the high-speed ammunition and rather try an underbarrel for even better recoil. This provides a lot of safety when firing.
Also try a smaller optic if the visual recoil is too strong for you. That can make a big difference.
The ISO Hemlock has fought its way to the top, but Warzone 2 offers many strong options in assault rifles and range. Especially the LMGs are also strong here.
