In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the developers at Infinity Ward completely overhauled the gunsmith. Gone are the days when you had to painstakingly level each new weapon from scratch before gaining access to the strongest attachments.
This allows some attachments to be used on multiple weapons – you unlock them once and can attach them to several weapons. We have listed 13 attachments that will be important for Warzone 2 here, along with the weapon you need to level up to unlock them.

Which attachments are good for Battle Royale? Throughout the many seasons of the first Warzone, it has been shown that certain weapon components and attachments repeatedly appear in the meta loadouts of Call of Duty’s Battle Royale.
This is because these attachments can positively influence the values of your weapons that are particularly important in Battle Royale. This includes a reduction of horizontal recoil, for instance.

In the Warzone, some attachments are particularly strong
Which attachments have been particularly strong so far? In the early seasons of Warzone, during the times of MW 2019, the monolithic silencer was a must on most assault rifles. This attachment reduced recoil and increased your range. Both are characteristics that provide you with massive advantages in Battle Royale.
In later seasons, during the times of Cold War or Vanguard, certain grips became particularly important. They could reduce your weapons’ recoil while simultaneously increasing your movement speed.

What comes next in Warzone 2.0? Values such as aim down sights speed, fire rate, or range will again provide you with many advantages in the new Warzone. The list below therefore includes a whole range of attachments that improve the values of your weapons relevant to Warzone.
Thanks to the new gunsmith, you can create several meta loadouts with these attachments, thus being well-prepared for the launch of Warzone 2.0. If you haven’t had time to unlock all weapons and attachments, these attachments are a good way to prepare for Warzone at the last minute.
If you want to be particularly efficient, start with the weapon “STB 556” and level it up to level 18. This will unlock 3 attachments at once.
After that, you can continue with the weapons “TAQ M”, “Lachmann 556”, and “VEL 46” since you need to invest some time in these weapons. The remaining attachments can already be obtained at low weapon levels and should therefore be relatively quick to acquire.
