Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will go online on November 16 and bring new content. You will lose your progress from Warzone 1. Will you still play it?
This is Warzone 2: The free battle royale from Call of Duty will enter its next round in a few days. The second part of Warzone comes with a whole range of new features and changes that differ significantly from its predecessor:
- The new map Al Mazrah, set in the desert
- New cooperative Gulag
- Revised circle mechanics
- MW2 movement
- No perks at the start
- A new, deeper gunsmith
- New equipment, like deployable cameras, etc.
Along with the release of Warzone 2.0 on November 16, the first season of CoD MW2 will also start directly with its own season pass, the hardcore mode, 2 new weapons, cosmetic items, and more.
However, there is a downside: You will start completely fresh in Warzone 2.0. Your progress from Warzone 1, the skins, levels, etc. will not carry over.
The weapons, progress, and inventory are bound to the content of MWII and its systems and are therefore completely separate from Warzone 1. The first part of Warzone will be taken offline for 12 days before the release of its successor. It will return afterward, but as “CoD: Warzone Caldera.”
Your progress from Warzone 1 will be saved there, and you can continue playing, but the mode will not receive any further seasons or updates. However, if you want to play the new CoD content, you must switch to Warzone 2. Will you do that?
