How to get early access to the Modern Warfare Beta (Early Access)
How do you get early access to the Modern Warfare Beta? If you haven’t happened to snag a promo code that grants you early access, there is essentially only one way to enjoy early access and start early: You must pre-order any version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
If you pre-order digitally, your early access will be granted automatically. If you order a physical version, then the path to early access is a bit longer. You will initially receive a Modern Warfare Beta code from your retailer / provider, which you must redeem on the official beta page Then you will receive another code there, which you use in the respective platform store to unlock early access.
By the way: On the PS4, preloading for the Modern Warfare Beta starts today, September 10th

The Modern Warfare Beta Times – Who can play when?
How and when exactly does the Modern Warfare Beta run? Are there differences between platforms? When can pre-orderers start on their respective platforms? And when can all the others play? We show you here how the Modern Warfare Beta runs in September:
- The beta is divided into 2 phases.
- Phase 1 is PS4-exclusive. The start is on 12.09. for players with early access, on 14th for the remaining players on PlayStation 4. This phase ends for everyone on September 16th.
- Phase 2 takes place on all platforms – so on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. It starts on September 19th for pre-orderers and all PS4 players. On September 21st, all other interested parties can join, and on September 23rd, the beta ends for all players on all platforms.
Each of the two beta phases is thus divided into an exclusive multi-day early access for pre-orderers and a two-day open beta. Players with early access have overall two full days more that they can spend in the beta.
Are you pre-ordering Modern Warfare for early access? Do the open days suffice for you? Or are you completely foregoing the beta?
