In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, there are again changes to the maps and modes. While these bring a lot of joy, they also cause frustration, as there are also removals.
What’s new: Since New Year’s Eve, there have been changes to the maps and modes in Modern Warfare. According to Infinity Ward, the following things have been changed:
- The game mode Grind is live
- Shoot House 24/7 is back
- The game mode Showfight has been removed
- Shoot the Ship has been removed
The return of Shoot House 24/7 is celebrated, because many players wished for the 24/7 mode on this map to return. The removal of Shoot the Ship, on the other hand, is sharply criticized. After all, this mode was popular with fans.
Players do not want any removals anymore
This causes criticism: The return of Shoot House 24/7 is almost overshadowed in the announcement from Infinity Ward. The much bigger criticism is that another mode has been removed for this.
Many fans do not understand why a popular mode always has to be removed to get another mode. They wonder: Why can’t all modes simply stay at the same time?
This is the situation with the modes: The 24/7 modes are among the most popular in Modern Warfare. The maps Shipment and Shoot House ran continuously in this mode, and true slaughter was promised.
After Shoot House was first popular with fans, the criticism after its removal was great. Shortly afterwards, players received Shipment and thus even more action. One could even easily achieve over 150 kills.
For Christmas, Infinity Ward then fulfilled a big wish for the fans. They received the mode Shoot the Ship. Here, both maps were alternated, pleasing fans of both maps simultaneously.
Now this mode is gone again, and only Shoot House 24/7 remains. Fans of Shipment are left in the lurch and are now complaining about the change.
You can find all other modes that exist in Modern Warfare here.
This is what fans are demanding: Under the announcement from Infinity Ward, there are many tweets demanding the return of Shipment. For example, one Twitter user asks why all 3 modes can’t be available at the same time. So both the maps Shipment and Shoot House in the 24/7 version, and then also Shoot the Ship added on top. His tweet receives a lot of approval.
It remains to be seen whether the developers will respond quickly to the many criticisms. When the criticism regarding the removal of Shoot House 24/7 became loud, it only took a few days until Infinity Ward responded and promised the return.
Have you heard about this crazy knife kill yet?
