When does the Black Ops 4 Private Beta run? All about the start time
PS4 and Xbox One – Private Beta: The Black Ops 4 beta is divided into several phases. The first weekend was exclusively reserved for PS4.
The next phase starts this weekend. From August 10 at 7:00 PM to August 13 at 7:00 PM, the beta will run for the second time – this time on PS4 and Xbox One.
PC – Private and Open Beta: For PC players, the beta also starts on August 10 at 7:00 PM – but only for those who pre-ordered the game.
Everyone else can join the Open Beta one day later, on Saturday, August 11 at 7:00 PM. All you need for this Open Beta phase is a Battle.net account. The beta will remain active on PC until August 13 at 7:00 PM.

By the way: An Open Beta phase for PS4 and Xbox One has not been announced yet. However, Activision might open the gates for all interested parties on consoles at a certain point, as has been done in the past with other betas.

How can you participate in the Black Ops 4 Private Beta?
Only via pre-order: The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta is not available to all players. The only guaranteed way to participate is to pre-order the game at retail, through the PS Store, the Xbox Store, or via Battle.net.
If you pre-ordered with your trusted retailer, you will receive a token that you can redeem on the official site. In return, you will receive a code for PS4, Xbox One, or Battle.net.
If you pre-order via Amazon, you will receive the code via email.

If you have pre-ordered digitally, you will be able to download the beta through the store of the respective platform as soon as it becomes available.
What content does the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Private Beta offer?
Only traditional multiplayer: The Black Ops 4 Private Beta focuses solely on testing the regular multiplayer mode. The battle royale mode Blackout will not be part of this beta.
What’s included: Both beta weekends offer 5 game modes on 6 different maps. Several Specialists (classes) will be playable in this setting – including Nomad and Prophet.

Is a PS Plus/Xbox Live Gold membership required for the Black Ops 4 Beta?
Although it has not yet been officially confirmed by Activision, previous Call of Duty betas did not require a PS Plus subscription. An active Xbox Live Gold membership is required to play on Xbox One.
Will progress from the Black Ops 4 Beta transfer to the full version?
No, neither your stats nor your progress will carry over to the full game.
But: Your progress from the first beta weekend on PS4 will be transferred to the second weekend.
Are there rewards for participating in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta?
Calling Card: If you log in to the beta on any platform during either of the two weekends, you will receive a unique calling card. This can only be obtained through the beta and will be delivered at the launch of Black Ops 4 on October 12, 2018.

Unlock Token: If you manage to reach the maximum level of the beta, you will receive an unlock token at the launch of the game. You can then use this token in the release version of Black Ops 4 to unlock any item in the class creation menu immediately.
Is the Blackout Battle Royale mode included in the Black Ops 4 Beta?
No, the Blackout mode can be tested in a separate beta that will take place in September 2018. A specific start date has not yet been announced. However, Treyarch has already confirmed that this beta will also start on PS4 first.
