In the current beta of CoD: Black Ops 7, fans can test the upcoming zombie mode and with a secret challenge, Activision wants to put fans to the test. It’s good that an Easter egg can help you out.
What is this secret challenge? There is a secret challenge in the current beta of Black Ops 7 and its zombie mode. The goal is to reach round 50 in a single run. Those who manage that will receive a secret calling card.
The challenge is not easy, as the longer you survive in zombies, the more aggressive the undead become – moreover, they become more resistant to damage and make your rounds automatically longer.
To help you complete the challenge more easily, there is a small Easter egg on the Vandorn farm that can make you more powerful with a bit of luck.

How does the Easter egg work? To activate the Easter egg, select survival mode and start a round on the farm. Once you have spawned, head south and walk towards the silo. Keep going until you reach the map’s boundary and find a wobbly trash can in front of you. Give the can a hit with your melee attack – it will now open.
Inside the trash can, there is now a black hole. You can throw two things into the hole:
- Your weapons (we advise against that)
- Your gadgets, like grenades, Semtex, and throwing axes
We recommend igniting a grenade and throwing it into the can. The hole will accept your sacrifices and reward you. In most cases, you will receive scrap of various rarity levels.
In some cases, however, you may receive a perk that provides you and your squad with a free soda. Best case scenario, the trash can will grant you a Ray Gun – one of the strongest wonder weapons in zombies.
The weapon, paired with the perk-a-cola Dr. Dudd (PhD Flopper), makes you nearly invincible and allows you to clear the field with radioactive explosive power without taking damage yourself. This way, you can easily reach level 50 or even higher.
Are there any more maps to test? We cannot say for sure. According to Activision, the beta will receive more modes as it continues, but whether this announcement is only for multiplayer is not entirely clear.
