It can happen again and again that a Pokémon flees in Pokémon GO. But when you encounter a really rare monster, it hurts even more. A father now reports how his son’s luck slowly but surely turned into misfortune.
What does the father report? The father and Pokémon trainer leroyyrogers reports in the subreddit of Pokémon GO that his son encountered an incredibly rare monster in the game – one of the rare Galar birds, a Galar Moltres, and then also in the Shiny variant.
But the luck did not last too long, as the situation became tighter with each Pokéball. What remained for the team of father and son is only a photographic evidence of the Shiny Moltres. They both had to witness how the rare Pokémon slipped away, and that was only because the boy did not have enough Pokéballs in his pocket, even though there were fifty of them. The only comment from the father in his Reddit post is: “That is really ridiculous.”

How does the community react to the experience of father and son? The community realizes how annoying this must have been for both of them. If the boy had still had his rare Master Ball, the Pokémon would not have slipped away:

What tips are there against the players? The Pokémon GO community sees the experience of the boy and his father as a kind of lesson. Even though the community wants to give the father and his son hints on how to best prepare to play Pokémon GO the right way, another player proves that one can also progress really well with a “wrong” playing style. He even managed to reach level 40 in his own way: Trainer plays Pokémon GO completely wrong, still reaches level 40 – “Respect for this achievement”
