Fresh gameplay of Borderlands 3 shows Moze in action. As a “bonus”, there is plenty of chatter from Claptrap, the big general of the Crimson Raiders.
In a few weeks, the release of Borderlands 3 is finally coming. For many gamers, it is already the highlight of the year. Finally shooting around in Pandora again and looting everything in sight is a great temptation – paired with the cool Borderlands story. Now, 15 minutes of fresh gameplay have been released, showing the beginning of the shooter.
What can be seen? The video shows the first attempts of Moze, one of the four vault hunters from Borderlands 3. She is greeted by Claptrap and subsequently introduced to the game mechanics. Using weapons, movement, and so on. There is also some shooting, as Claptrap leads the vault hunter into a problematic situation, resulting in a fight against some psychos and bandits.
Also present is Lilith, who in Borderlands 3 (like Angel in Borderlands 2) provides hints and is simply projected right onto the screen.
In the last minutes, Moze’s mech can even be seen, which she can call in for the first time. As can be guessed, it does not end well for the bandits.
Recently, Borderlands 3 “accidentally” streamed 4 hours of gameplay on Twitch.
Claptrap is coming along: Most of the time, you will be accompanied by Claptrap in the tutorial – this role he also fulfills in Borderlands 3. He introduces himself as the general of the Crimson Raiders (which he certainly is not) and hopes to become a “super general” of the Crimson Raiders for his grand performances (which does not happen). However, he excels in his task of showing the player the basics – that is, interacting with objects, completing missions, and of course looting everything that is not securely fastened.
Interestingly, the video does not spoil much. The first minutes are still quite unspectacular story-wise and serve more as an introduction to the game mechanics.
