Anyone who wants to buy a PS5 has to be extremely lucky right now. Because interested users are fighting against scalpers and other users for every available console. And currently, there are few opportunities to buy a PS5. Sony itself had recently only sold a few consoles directly.
However, it currently looks like you have a great chance this week at two specific retailers to buy a PS5.

Which retailers are involved? You currently have the best chances with the retailers Müller and Otto.
- The last drop at Otto was now 45 days ago and was at the end of December. From experience, we know that Otto usually sells PS5 consoles multiple times a month.
- Müller is the second candidate this week where you can calculate high chances. The last drop here was now 42 days ago. Müller usually sells PS5 consoles once a month.
What speaks for the retailers? Both mentioned sellers have not sold a PS5 for over a month, and that is rather surprising. There has been a rumor that you might soon be able to buy a PS5 at Otto.
Although the last action turned out to be a false alarm, the signs are currently intensifying that it could finally happen this week.
It is also surprising at Müller that there have been no consoles available for purchase for over a month. The website Forum reports that there are several indications that there could be a drop during the week (via foraum.de). However, we cannot verify the source, so you should take that statement with caution.
Are there specific times? Most retailers have a specific time window during which they offer consoles in their shop.
At Otto, you mainly have chances in the mornings between 9 and 1 PM to buy a PS5. The last two drops at Otto in December both took place during this period.
Müller is often found even earlier in terms of timing. Here you can sometimes buy a PS5 even before 9 AM.
