Bungie has now confirmed: The Exo “Concordant Choir” is a broken and far too powerful weapon. The team from Destiny 2 will take care of the rifle and prepare a fix, but this is still to come.
What is wrong with the weapon? The Concordant Choir is a Void automatic rifle powered by special ammunition. When you fire it while aiming, you shoot single rounds. However, when you fire from the hip, you shoot Vex Wyvern shots that explode upon impact.
As other YouTubers confirm, the weapon is far too powerful for its class. Even large bosses in dungeons can be annihilated in seconds. Bungie has noticed this and has identified problems with ammunition economy as well as interaction with the surge rifle “Divinity”. A fix is expected to follow, but for now, Guardians can still have their fun.

What has Bungie communicated? The development team is aware of the issues. The weapon reportedly has far too much ammunition for its purposes. This allows Guardians to fire for extended periods in Wyvern mode, resulting in exorbitant damage numbers. This was not intended.
Moreover, the Concordant Choir has a strange interaction with the surge rifle “Divinity”. This interaction significantly increases the damage, which was also not part of the plan. A fix is already in the works, but the team does not want to spoil the fun with the weapon for the Guardians.
According to their account on X (formerly Twitter), the fix is not expected to arrive until Episode 2. So you can turn and demolish Destiny 2 for over a month.
Are there any other bugs? The new exotic mission is also broken. According to player reports on X, the final boss of the mission remains locked if you die in the arena with a buff. The developers are aware of this softlock and are working on fixing it.
