Bungie launched a relief effort for Houston. In exchange for donations, you will receive a pin and an exclusive emblem in Destiny 2.
In recent days, Hurricane Harvey dominated the media – a natural disaster. The hurricane devastated the city of Houston and its surroundings, leaving thousands of people without homes. Dozens lost their lives. The emotional and material damage is enormous. Countless people are now in need of help.
The Destiny developers at Bungie now want to use their reach to mobilize the Guardian community to donate a few dollars for Houston. Bungie emphasizes the generosity of their wonderful community, which they have demonstrated multiple times in the past, and now invite you to help again.
These bonuses you will receive for a donation
Through the Bungie Foundation, they are working with Direct Relief. This non-profit organization is already on-site, assisting those in need and providing first aid.
The relief effort from Bungie looks like this:

- This is what the pin looks like:

- And this is the badge you will receive in Destiny 2 (the code for the badge is included with the pin):

- You can buy a maximum of 10 pins per order. A total of 15,000 pins are in stock, but more will be produced and expected in mid-October.
- All proceeds from Bungie’s relief effort go directly to Direct Relief, who are assisting the victims of the “Hurricane Harvey” disaster.
- Keep in mind that shipping costs to Germany are quite high. In addition to the $15, you will need to add $6.58 for shipping.
Bungie writes: Helping those in need is what makes a Guardian a Guardian.
Bungie previously worked with Direct Relief in 2015 to help the earthquake victims in Nepal. At that time, they motivated their Guardians with a t-shirt, an emblem, and a shader to donate. Over a million dollars were raised.
