A player has built a unique suitcase PC. The highlight of the project is the 3 screens that are stored together with the mini-gaming system in a hard-shell case.
Portable gaming systems in the form of laptops or mobile game consoles are abundant. Meanwhile, individual hobbyists are also attempting their own version of a handheld..
A tinkerer has now taken a step further and built a custom suitcase PC. His portable “battlestation” in a hard-shell case consists of a mini-PC to which three screens are connected.

What kind of computer is this? The suitcase PC of user WraithXt1 includes a mini-PC that provides enough power for gaming at low to medium details at resolutions from 720p to 1080p and thus, at first glance, offersmore FPS than a gaming PC for 1,800 Euros.
In a post onReddit, the tinkerer shares several pictures of his project with the community. He shows not only the final result but also some photos during the assembly and states:
I’ve wanted to do this for years, but last year I found a PC that is fast enough and monitors that are thin enough to make it work!
What components are included? The centerpiece is the EM780 mini-PC from manufacturer Minisforum for 730 Euros. The selected model features an AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor, an AMD Radeon 780M graphics unit, and 32 GB of RAM. He does not provide details about the SSD.
The system includes 3 screens, of which 2 are foldable. He is said to have paid about 90 Euros per display. He does not provide details about the resolution. To connect a mouse and keyboard to the mini-PC in addition to the monitors, he uses 2 different USB hubs.
To power the PC on the go, WraithXt1 opted for a CUKTECH 20 power bank. All the mentioned components fit together in a NANUK 910 hard-shell case for about 70 Euros. According to themanufacturer, the case is said to be indestructible.
What problems arose during the project? As the suitcase PC was his first design, he encountered some problems during assembly that needed to be solved. He refrained from making modifications directly to the mini-PC.
To charge the initially selected power bank, the connected PC had to be turned off first. For this reason, WraithXt1 chose a model that allows the mini-computer to remain on.
Attaching the monitors seemed to be a challenge. According to his statement, he needed several revisions for that. He said: “The monitor mounts were the worst.” Such problems were not encountered bya YouTuber with his portable PS5 in tablet format for example.

How long can you play on the go? According to his statements, the power bank’s power is sufficient to run the system for over two hours at maximum CPU and GPU usage, with all three monitors at maximum brightness. When surfing the internet, he achieves 4 to 6 hours of runtime.
The tinkerer, however, wants to design a second version of his suitcase PC with a longer mobile runtime. For this, he plans to rearrange the components inside to accommodate a second power bank.
Fortunately, the tinkerer decided to use a power bank to power his suitcase PC on the go. Had he relied on a streamer’s battery, it would probably have caused a huge mess in the case:Twitch streamer shows a crazy experiment, builds a working battery from a portion of chili
