The Elder Scrolls Online (PC, PS4, Xbox One) will soon receive the new dungeon DLC “Dragon Bones.” One of the new dungeons – the “Summit of the Scalecaller” – brings truly abhorrent enemies!
The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) will be the first DLC pack of 2018 to include the dungeon pack “Dragon Bones.” It features the two instances “Scalecaller Peak” and “The Summit of the Scalecaller.”
While Scalecaller Peak presents an ancient instance from the very first Elder Scrolls game “Arena” after more than 20 years, the Summit of the Scalecaller deals with disgusting pestilence and smelly ogre bosses.
The Fallen Dragon Priestess and Her Stinking Followers!
The “Summit of the Scalecaller” is located in the mountains in the border area between Skyrim and the Orcs’ land. There, the fallen dragon priestess Zaan – the namesake Scalecaller – has settled in with her cult. Since her dragon lord Thurvokun was destroyed, she now serves the Daedric Prince Peryite, the Lord of Pestilence.
Thus, Zaan’s new cult is a stinking plague sect. This ensures that you will face some of the most disgusting bosses you have ever encountered in ESO. The most repulsive minions of Zaan are the Ogres Orzun the Stench and Rinaerus the Rancid.
Each of them is already disgusting enough, but when the two ogres meet, their stench will knock you out completely. So, it is advisable to keep the two stinkers as far apart as possible. A challenge for any team!
New Loot and Decorations for Housing!
As always, valuable rewards await you that will compensate you for your endured hardships. After defeating Zaan, there are unique titles, a new appearance, and trophies for your home.
A new armor set called “Jorvuld’s Guidance” can be looted, which will significantly enhance the stamina of you and your group. It extends buffs and shields.
In veteran mode, you’ll also receive helmets from Zaan’s mask set. Together with the matching shoulders, they improve your critical hits. Anyone who dares to enter the instance will also receive a helmet skin as a gift.
