Borderlands 4 rewards loyal fans with a gift, and that comes with Twitch Drops. The reward is only temporarily available, so if you don’t know when or where to watch, you will miss out on your gift. Therefore, we give you all the details about the current Twitch Drops.
What are these drops? Fashion is also important in Borderlands 4, and to get your first skin at release, you will receive a purple paint for ECHO-4 – your robot assistant (you can see the skin in our title image). This cute guy will be your companion as you move through Kairos.
What do I need to do for the drops? To obtain the drop, you only need to tune into Gearbox’s official stream from August 29th at 10:00 PM until no later than September 29th, 2025, and watch. We can’t predict how long the stream will last, but you must watch for at least 30 minutes to claim the reward.
Note that you will need a Twitch account for this. You then link this to your SHiFT account. Once you’ve done that, your reward will be waiting for you in the game.

How long can I claim the drops? Once you’ve watched for 30 minutes, you then have a window of 24 hours to claim your reward. It’s a tight timeframe, but if you’ve met the minimum requirement, you can’t do anything else but claim the reward – so don’t waste time.
What can I do if I don’t want to watch the stream? One of the most popular tricks for Twitch Drops is to let the stream run while doing something else, like: homework, tidying up the house, or going to the park. Twitch doesn’t check if you are actively participating in the stream; you just need to be actively logged into your account to gain progress towards your drops.
