Borderlands 4 and the Game Pass
Is Borderlands 4 included in the Game Pass? No, the game has not been released yet, and it will not be included in the Game Pass at launch. If you want to play the game right on release on September 12, 2025, you’ll need to purchase it on your desired platform.
If you’re waiting for the Switch 2 version, you will have to wait until October 3.

Will Borderlands 4 come to Microsoft’s Game Pass? That is not unlikely. The predecessor, Borderlands 3, is currently included in the Game Pass. However, you should not expect that Borderlands 4 will be added to the subscription service anytime soon. It may take a few years.
