Skin packs are received neutrally
How are players reacting to this? The reactions are quite balanced. There are players who are excited and want to buy the packs right away. Others, however, wonder if Gearbox is seriously charging for the skins that were originally free as pre-order bonuses.
- Nevertoolatetogame says on Reddit: “They are cool, but not as cool as the skins from Borderlands 2.”
- MathematicXBL writes: “They gave the skins out for free and are now selling them. What’s going on?”
Overall, the new cosmetic packs are received quite well. After all, it was also possible to buy skins in Borderlands 2, which is why the sale of cosmetics is not criticized as much. However, most people still consider the cosmetic items from Borderlands 2 to be better. Gearbox will need to put in more effort with the design in the future.
What do you think of the skin packs? Do you like them? Are they unnecessary or should Gearbox have offered the pre-order skins for free?
