During a livestream about Borderlands 3, new information about the “Bloody Harvest” event was released. What is coming in the future, you can find out here.
Gearbox announced: During the first episode of the new “Borderlands Show”, Gearbox shared new information about the future of Borderlands.
It was known for a while that there will be 4 story DLCs, which you can also get as part of the Season Pass. In the stream, Creative Director Paul Sage talked about the new event “Bloody Harvest”.
Bloody Harvest – When does it start, what’s in it?
When Bloody Harvest starts: Bloody Harvest will start at the end of October and will follow a Halloween theme. It is an update that comes free for everyone. The event will last approximately one and a half months.
This is what Bloody Harvest brings: There will be new missions, challenges, and new loot. For completing challenges, there will be new cosmetic items. Sage emphasized that there will be at least two new weapons, a new shield, and a new grenade mod. Important: All these items can only be collected during the event – so don’t miss it.
Additionally, there will be a new gameplay mechanic called “Terror” and a new boss named “Captain Haunt”. Cursed enemies will appear, in relation to which Sage hinted at a Ghostbusters-style weapon.
Are there hotfixes for performance issues?
This is what Paul Sage said about the update: Aside from Bloody Harvest, Sage also discussed difficulties at launch. Patches are expected to be released within the coming week that should fix some performance issues. One issue to be resolved concerns the cloud saving problems some players are experiencing.
Also difficulties with the co-op that disrupt the gaming experience will be fixed. In addition, lagging menus will be improved. However, Sage emphasized that he cannot provide exact information about the timing of upcoming performance fixes.
