The next patch in Borderlands 3 is going to be really big. Along with the Maliwan Takedown, the game will bring a lot of new content that players have been asking for.
When is the patch coming? The patch will be coming this week. It is expected on Thursday night – at least that’s how it was with the last patches.
What’s inside? Along with the large content update Maliwan Takedown several new features will be coming to the game with the November patch. New features include:
- Mayhem 4
- Dedicated Loot Drops
- Increased bank space
- Bug fixes

New patch brings Mayhem 4
This is Mayhem 4: As the developers of Borderlands 3 explained in the in-house Borderlands Show, Mayhem 4 will be a new level of the Mayhem mode.
However, it comes with some differences compared to levels 1 to 3. The player penalties will be removed. Instead, both players and enemies will receive a random modifier, which gives each side a bonus. The reduced penalties in the previous levels have been well received by players.
Additionally, there will be certain legendary weapons that you can only get in Mayhem 4. So the new level is likely to be a worthwhile challenge in endgame.
What else is happening with the Mayhem mode? The developers also announced Mayhem 2.0. However, not for the current patch. This is a long-term plan for an overhaul.
The Mayhem mode will get an adjusted UI and new modifiers that will have a greater impact on gameplay. Additionally, there will be new playlists and rewards – more information will be available next year.
Borderlands 3 fulfills players’ loot wishes
Patch finally brings bank improvement: Furthermore, the new patch will finally bring the bank expansion that players have been wanting. The bank will be increased from 50 to 300 slots – so you will get noticeably more space, which you can unlock via SDUs.
Less searching: Additionally, the bosses in the game will now have “Dedicated Loot Pools” – so you can now find specific weapons from specific bosses. This will make farming individual weapons easier.
Further corrections: In addition, the patch will bring a target dummy for the shooting range, more vendors on various maps, and improved UI performance. The patch should bring good mood once it is available.
