In Borderlands 3, the Bloody Harvest Event will start at the end of October. There will be a new zone, weapons, and a new boss for Halloween. All the info is here.
When does Bloody Harvest start? After it was already clear for some time that Bloody Harvest would start at the end of October, there is now a clear date. The Halloween event will run from October 24 to December 5.
Trailer shows spooky Halloween atmosphere
This was already known: Since the first announcement, it has been known that the Bloody Harvest Event would bring a lot of new content. Confirmed were:
- The new boss “Captain Haunt”
- Halloween atmosphere
- At least two new weapons
- New cosmetic items
The event will be available via a free update. In a new trailer, Gearbox showed more of what you can expect.
This is what the trailer shows: In the trailer, there is a lot to see. Among other things, we see:
- The new “cursed enemies”
- A brief glimpse of “Captain Haunt”
- The Halloween skins for the Vault Hunters
- Weapon skins
- The new legendary weapon “Fearmonger”
If you want to get a precise impression, you can find the trailer right here:
New zone to visit: Additionally, in “Bloody Harvest”, you can visit the new zone “Heck”. There you will encounter Captain Haunt and his undead minions. Enemies like fire-breathing “Rakk-o-Lanterns” and more Halloween-appropriate foes will be joining.
Also new is the terror debuff that some of these enemies can trigger. It affects aiming visibility – unless you have new anointed weapons that can turn terror into a power boost. You can earn the new skins for Vault Hunters, weapons, and more by completing event challenges – so there is more content after the latest cosmetics.
When can I play? Theoretically, anyone can simply install the update and start playing. The only requirement is: You must have progressed in the story far enough that “Sanctuary III” is available. But this happens quite early.
Will the new “Fearmonger” become a favorite just like the Flakker was?
