Blue Protocol: Star Resonance has numerous systems, currencies, and features that one must first understand. It’s no wonder that a mistake keeps happening.

Be careful with equipment
I keep seeing it: Players simply equip the golden items in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, regardless of what the stats look like. This is a big mistake! You can already tell that some players are lagging behind in dungeons.
Even though the items may look better at first glance, it’s not enough to just build your equipment from golden pieces; the stats are much more important. To understand this, one needs to look at the attributes of the items. An item consists of:
- Basic Attributes: They are the same for every item and are not randomly generated. It is only important that the item fits the class. A Frost Mage should not use items with agility.
- Advanced Attributes: These values are rolled randomly and vary from item to item. They determine whether an item is good or bad.
- Reforge Attribute: By forging an item, an additional value is added. It can be changed repeatedly by reforging.
What makes a good item? To assess whether an item is good or bad, it’s important to look at the Advanced Attributes. You want to have as many values with a thumbs up as possible. This signals that the value is useful for your class.
On the other hand, using items with Advanced Attributes that do not have a thumbs up is not useful for your character. Thus, items of purple rarity can be better than golden ones, especially if they have the right attributes in comparison.
Get the right equipment now
To prepare for the raids and the master mode of the dungeons, you need to take care of the right equipment now.
- Your goal is to have a complete set of gear level 40 in gold with two Advanced Attributes belonging to your class by the start of those game modes.
To achieve this, Blue Protocol: Star Resonance offers 6 different dungeons, each dropping 2 of the total 11 equipment pieces in hard mode. It is therefore possible to farm the missing equipment pieces quite specifically.
Once the next difficulty level of the dungeons and the raids are unlocked, many players will face the problem that they will not be strong enough for the content despite a high gear score.
