Blizzard advises you to keep your unused Uber Uniques in Diablo 4 and not to sell them, as the team is planning an update that could make the rare items useful soon.
Uber Uniques
are known in Diablo 4 as rare items that can make your build even more powerful. However, not every Uber Unique
is useful for the respective playstyle/build. Uber Uniques used to be extremely rare, but with farmable bosses like Duriel, the grind for the rarest items has been made somewhat easier.
Some players have a stock of the same Uber Uniques
that they can no longer derive any further benefit from. With the introduction of Season 3, even the mechanical companion Seneschall received its own form of Uber Uniques.
Adam Fletcher, the Community Director of Diablo 4, has now advised players to keep their unused Uber Uniques
for future updates. Because these items could soon have much greater significance in the game.

What is planned? Adam Fletcher explained in a post on the official forums of the game that the Diablo 4 development team has upcoming plans for players who may own a variety of Uber Uniques that they are currently not using.
He also advises players:
Here’s just a friendly reminder from the #Diablo4 team. Keep unused Uber Uniques. The team has some plans for a future patch that we will announce soon, but we thought this warning was warranted for those who might have some Uber Uniques they are not using.

It is currently unclear what specific plans Blizzard has for the Uber Uniques of Diablo 4. However, they deemed it important to inform players early about this. More information on the team’s plans is expected to be announced soon.
