Blizzard fans can now shop to their heart’s content without fearing long shipping times. A gear store has now also been opened in Europe.
Those who wanted official Blizzard merchandise, such as figures or T-shirts for Overwatch, Diablo, or World of Warcraft, had to import these from the USA. This usually meant long waiting times, in addition to the high customs and shipping costs that also applied. This has now come to an end. Blizzard has opened its own gear store in Europe, and the goods are shipped directly from the Netherlands.
No customs, shorter shipping routes: For European customers, the new Blizzard gear store means comfortable ordering options. Thanks to the close proximity, shipping costs are also lower. Waiting times for an order should only be a matter of a few days. This makes it easier to buy gifts for friends and acquaintances in time.
Separate from the American shop: However, one should be careful with certain promotional actions that one might hear about. The European Blizzard store is separate from the American one and therefore offers its own actions or promotions with various discounts.
However, the basic offerings are largely identical. It may happen that a specific item is only available in the American or European gear store, but not in the other one.
Thanks to the location in Europe, buyers here also benefit from the usual rights, such as a 14-day return policy without giving reasons.
Swiss are out of luck: Only our friends from Switzerland do not benefit from the new Blizzard gear store, as it only ships to the European Union. Therefore, Swiss customers must continue to order from America and thus bear the import duties and waiting times.
