In Blade & Soul, the first PvP season starts today. They also give a small insight into patch 2.1 …
Today, on April 13, 2016, the first official PvP season of Blade & Soul starts for us in the West. The preliminary skirmishes are now a thing of the past, and players can finally compete for seasonal rewards and prove who among them has the greatest skill (or the best internet connection). In addition to the rewards at the end of the season, there will also be smaller recognitions at the end of each week to honor performances. Those particularly talented can also participate in the official NCSoft community tournaments that will be introduced in the coming weeks.
“Realm in Ruins” starts in 2 weeks
On the official website of the game, there is already a first glimpse of update 2.1. The small expansion named “Realm in Ruins” will be released on April 27 and expand the game world with two new heroic dungeons: the Cold Storage and the Lonely Bastion. The Bastion is said to be particularly challenging. According to the developers, it is the “most challenging challenge for player groups” that can be found in Blade & Soul.
But solo players will also get their money’s worth, as the Tower of Mushin will be expanded once again. On 7 new floors (levels 9-15), you can face particularly difficult enemies alone and surely pilfer one or the other treasure from them.
Finally, PvP fans can look forward to a new battlefield. In the Windswept Valley, 12 players can compete in teams of 6, but they must fulfill specific objectives and not just beat each other up.
In the coming days, they will reveal more details about the contents of patch 2.1 “Realm in Ruins”.
