The Kung-Fu MMO Blade and Soul is getting a new dungeon update this month, featuring huge mechs and a quirky boss. Additionally, more raids are planned for 2017, and there’s some movement in the eSports scene as well.
The colleagues from MMORPG.com attended E3 and checked out NCSoft’s MMO Blade & Soul. They were shown the new Maestro class along with the next big dungeon and its boss. This is expected to be the craziest and strongest villain yet encountered in Blade & Soul.
Blade & Soul – Irontech Forge – The most vicious dungeon so far!
According to the E3 announcement, the new dungeon Irontech Forge will be available on June 28 2017. In it, you will raid a gigantic factory where massive mechs are produced. Of course, the mechs also serve as enemies and bosses in the instance.
However, at the end, there won’t be another mech waiting, but instead, a hulking guy who is supposed to look like a mix of a cowboy, a muscle man, and a hip-hop artist.
If you win here, you will receive new Soul Badges and a new weapon set as well. For those still wanting more, further raid content is expected throughout the rest of the year. NCSoft aims to focus more on raids in the future.
Blade & Soul – eSports – Europe, America, and Russia in the World Championship
If you’re not in the mood for PvE and raids, you can look forward to changes in eSports. Blade & Soul has long been a popular eSports game in Korea, but now other countries can finally compete in the Grand Finals. In the Grand Finals, the best teams are crowned, and this time players from Russia, North America, and Europe will join the professionals from Asia.
