Blade & Soul revolves around martial artists who fight with fists, kicks, and melee weapons. However, soon a new class called Maestro will appear, wielding pistols and rifles. Additionally, there is now an impressive cinematic trailer.
An old saying goes: “Never bring a knife to a gunfight.” This mistake should not happen to the Maestro, the new class in Blade & Soul. This hero is also a martial artist, but instead of wielding swords, Kung Fu movies or magic, he brings heavy firearms into the battle.
Blade and Soul – Cinematic Trailer – Two Maestros in Duel
In combat, the Maestro relies on his speed and skill with dual pistols. He also imbues them with powerful magic, so he not only fires bullets but also throws burning shurikens and other tricks. Moreover, the Maestro can shoot grappling hooks to reposition himself in seconds.
As an alternative weapon, the Maestro has a rifle, which apparently makes him less mobile but allows for more precise attacks. You can admire all these cool moves of the new hero in a stunning cinematic video. In it, two Maestros engage in a wild duel and devastate an ancient temple with their spectacular “Gun-Fu” skills.
The Maestro will be the 10th class in Blade & Soul. It will be released on June 14 in South Korea. There is no information yet about the Western release of the Maestro.
Jürgen says: I love characters with guns and I love martial arts action! Therefore, the Maestro is right up my alley, especially since there is already a cool NPC in B&S who uses firearms. I have always thought it was a shame that you couldn’t play such a hero yourself, but that should change soon. I just hope that the new class fits well into the balance of Blade & Soul and arrives here soon.
